Biography by Harry S Williams
Always known as Kati H. She received her education at the Meadville Academy
(now High School) under Prof. Thickston and Batesand, the private academy for young
ladies kept by Prof. and Mrs. Kendall, spending, later on, nearly two years at the Female
Seminary in Granville, OH under Prof Kerr. She returned to her parents on account of
their house having been destroyed by fire with most of its contents and did not return
to complete her studies.
Obituary
Death of Mrs. O.L. Williams
Mrs. O.L. Williams, wife of the late Octavius L. William, died at Detroit, Michigan,
April 5, 1916. Burial was made in Greendale Cemetery. Mrs. Williams was an old resident
of Meadville and vicinity. She was born November 7, 1871, in Meadville Township and resided
in Meadville until1892, when she moved to Buffalo, N.Y. During the past five years she has
been in poor health and has spent time with her four sons, who survive.
