Dear Children Since you left here we have
had two letters from you which informed us of your
healths and that you ware not all well and that Loisa
had bin very sick and was getting better
... I am as well
as when you ware here but your mother is very poore
We have heard from Illinois lately by a letter Abraham
sent to Richards; Abiathar had lost his little gairl
and his oldest boy was then very sick with the scarlet fever...

...give our love to all your
children.
